Meet Inez Grant

During my tenure as prosecutor, the City Court of Gainesville was recognized for its closure rate during the COVID-19 pandemic and has received the same award each year since 2020.

I have been recognized by the State Bar of Georgia for my work on the unauthorized practice of law committee.
I was the attorney coach for Forsyth Central High School’s Mock Trial team for many years. The team won Regional and placed second in District competitions.

I was a competitive flat-water kayaker from 2002 – 2013 at Lanier Canoe & Kayak Club as well as the Washington (DC) Canoe Club, and routinely medaled in the masters-level competitions I entered. I competed twice at the Master’s World Championships (2005 and 2009) and medaled in the events I entered. I was a member of the race team for Lake Lanier Rowing Club from 2012 – 2017 and regularly medaled in my events.

The Hall County Solicitor’s Office was recognized by former Attorney General Thurbert Baker for developing a collaborative Domestic Violence unit between the Solicitor’s Office and Hall County Sheriff’s Office. This was one of the first units of its kind in Georgia and I played a primary role in its development.
